3rd Day of Christmas:  Scrapbook Ornament

If scrapbooks are your jam, this Mod Podge ornament tutorial is for you.  I am constantly holding onto concert tickets, greeting cards, and other trinkets I find memorable.  Take those paper memories and transform them into a lasting memory to display every Christmas.  BONUS:  These scrapbook ornaments make the perfect unique and meaningful gift for your loved one.

imageWhat you’ll need:

  • Any kind of paper; scrapbook paper, concert ticket, card (I used an Anniversary card from Mick)
  • Craft Ornament
  • Scissors
  • Mod Podge
  • Craft Brush

1. Start by cutting off thin strips of the paper.  Take off top of ornament and set aside.

2. Using your craft brush, brush Mod Podge on the back of the strip of paper.  Press against ornament and brush another layer of mod podge on top of it.
image You can use your fingers to smooth out any air bubbles.

3. Repeat this until entire ornament is covered with the strips of paper.
4. Apply final coat of Mod Podge to entire ornament and let dry.

This ornament is so easy and unique, and takes less than an hour including drying time.  What will you use for your scrapbook ornament?!
