For over a year now I have been talking to a really great guy, Kevin. Kevin was stationed in Japan for several years as a Information Systems Technician and was recently accepted for DEVGRU Special Warfare in Virginia Beach, Virginia. We have known each other since Jr. High School but reconnected last year and we finally today decided to give long distance a try. It feels strange to now have the title of “Navy Girlfriend” but it is something I am really excited about. Past experiences have proved that long distance is extremely difficult and trying on a relationship but I have a lot of confidence about Kevin and I and can’t wait to see what happens. I love learning about what he does in the Navy and I feel so proud to have a boyfriend that is physically and mentally so strong and passionate and always willing to go that extra mile (literally). It has been one single day since we have been officially dating now and he already makes me want to push myself. I want to be healthy, I want to be confident, I want to feel proud in what I do and find a job that makes me happy. I want to be my best for him, but also for myself. I want to cut out unhealthy habits and constantly improve myself. Long distance may be hard, but if a boyfriend after one day is already making me want to be a better person, I think that we are off to a really amazing start.
This is a short video of what he does and I can’t wait to learn more. The military is really amazing and I never had much education on what they were all about, this Naval Special Warfare stuff is really fascinating too.
That’s all for now folks. Alpha Mike Foxtrot.
