I love trinket trays and always find uses for them around the house so I naturally fell in love when I saw an easy tutorial to make my own customized trinket trays. I thought this would be such a cute idea for a Bride-To-Be so I made one for my friend, Nikki who got engaged a few months ago!
Here’s what you’ll need:
- Small trinket dish (I bought a small dipping bowl from Target for $1.99)
- Rub-on letters (A great find from the Target Dollar Spot but you can also find these at your local craft store)
- Mod Podge Acrylic Sealer
I started by cutting out my letters, being careful next to touch the ink on them directly
Arrange the letters on the dish
Once you have them placed, using a popsicle stick, rub the letters until you can see that the ink is rubbing off onto the dish
Continue this with all of the letters
After all of the letters have been rubbed onto the bowl, use your Mod Podge sealer to spray a coating over the dish and let dry for a full 24 hours
and just like that… an adorable customized trinket tray for under $5!
