I recently decided to learn how to really cook.  I spent my childhood eating my mom’s amazing Italian meals but with only one ear fully open to the intricate directions and secret ingredients.
In college, I was content with sandwiches, frozen turkey burgers, mac & cheese and the occasional chicken dish that I decided to try my hand at.  Once I got a live-in chef (aka: my culinary school brother), I knew that I didn’t have to worry about becoming a good cook.
..Until my boyfriend and I decided to move in together.

I love going out to eat, trying new restaurants and exploring new cuisine but once Mike and I moved in together, I knew that I had to make a change.  After all, the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach!
